Through all the time since it was shown last, and the release of these new files, has anyone ever managed yet for anything to look like this:

YKW's server i take it

Currently the best on offer publicly is the Plume Wind emu It does feature the new slots but not there effects like hands weight etc Also it doesnt include offical skills
However is does feature a hell of alot you'd have to look @ the files yourself to see

So Plume Wind i reckon is as close as we are gonna get to 1.9

Yeah, from quite a long time ago. I just emailed him to see how he is doing, I've been busy with WoW and this weird life thing that decided to take over :\

I sort of miss playing with everything though.

You should try the emu the custimisabilty of it is very good You prob wont like some features of it tho Such as all light rev

World of Warcraft is rather fun. It has a nice quest system that, though I don't follow, has some level of a story line. That doesn't matter too much to me though, what I like is the simple game play. There are no complex stats you have to design around, you have the usual. Also, from the quests you gain quite a bit of exp, based around your players level. In the end technically it is faster to grind then it is to follow the quests but after a while it isn't too hard to do quests to gain more experience. I started the same time as my friend, he has followed all the quests and is now level 46 (of 60). I'm lv 22 and 12. I just don't feel the need to plow through every possible quest.. nor do I have the time.. But even at lv 22 I enjoy the game.. and I'm almost to level 23.. Oh, and if you don't play for a few days, you grow on how much double exp you make. Basically, it gives you a chance to catch up since you were not around. It is pretty fair too.

Each even class gains spells, problem though at level 22 most spells were about 45s (Game money works in Gold, Silver, Copper).. and I have yet to make any gold.

Btw UniTY last i heard about YKW he has to rewrite alot of his code and doesnt actually have a working version atm I think he got a new job as well so dont think he has been coding much on his emu

He has a job that I would most likely be fired from, mostly because I don't know if I'd have the self control he has

But yeah, I heard that a while back. He is trying for some serious performance and when it doesn't happen, rewrite ! Hope all is well for him

Any language you're comfortable with. It isn't so much what language you need to learn, it is how well you can use it. YouKnowWho has something of a gift I must admit, I've seen him pull of amazing tasks.

none of the files we have or the chinese have are even close to what YKW and his team are doing

But it takes time and tbh LIFE is more important

Let me explain a bit more.

The screenshot was from July of 2004, which was quite a few months ago. It isn't an emulator, it simply is a new "engine" or client with servers, both based around each other. None of WEMADE Entertainment's code was included in the development of the client and servers. He is just pretty smart, and followed along on how it works, then duplicated it.

Really, the client felt very much like the real mir, with the exception of only a couple of elements.

I actually got bored and leveled from 1 to 5 on TigerServer (the test gameserver that we had up for alpha testing, which if you're resourceful, you could find the alpha testing website).
