Yep, somehow the visibility is much poorer than I am used to from other mirs and it is poorer even during daylight. Maybe because the maps are more busy with those pinky gay mir3 trees and other such useless candy? Even the bridge near Border has to have some wine on the handrail. I liked very much the old look of that bridge whenever I passed over it... I call this kind of changes gratuitious and wish 'they' just improved what needs improving, not spoil what worked and looked good with their %^&* they can't leave anything alone, have to put their stamp on everything.
Also when you run about the map redraw is more jerky, flickering like, than how I know it from other more classic mirs. It was never too smooth but this edition seems to be worst in that regard. I guess you get used to it after a while.
Another blemish I don't like is how your mouse cursor vanishes when placed over a harvestable tree or mob, gives a bad, lost like feeling. Also don't like the new progress bar that replaced the old original way bashing the tree which was so much better. And auto collecting stuff that is suposed to fall on ground only finishes the sad affair it has become. I suppose that's mir3 element like those pink trees and cows? And last nail in the coffin is that tree vanishes only when harvested second time, not sure if you ever collect anything on that second harvest. Some trees can be harvested many times over but likely collecting anything only first time, IMO its bug, didn't go look in the bug section yet.
I started sin char and he seems lazy slow swinging his weapon and its not like I only have some distant memory of it, in the waiting for this to open I played mir2forever that has all things I mention in this post properly implemented, how they should be.

When the brightness is high enough you can actually see everything.
Well, that's not solution, my laptop has older display and is very sensitive when it comes to the viewing angle and if I look more from top, I can see even in the dark area, same thing if you put display brightness way up but that's ugly to play like that.
