mhh lets see my review:
- sourcecode has a near infinite number of bugs (mostly silly ones but in the end they do annoy the hell out of me)
examples:
on selchar:
* the animations you see with your class are bouncing all over the place
* the server/client forget what the last char is you selected, so if you have 2 chars it always selects the first, logged in on the wrong one almost every time because of this
* when going from selchar > game it displayed those nice pictures, to bad the selchar buttons where messing up the image ( they still show through ffs)
once ingame:
* your inventory gets scrambled every time you relog (really annoying to have to clean it every time)
* minimap is turned off every time you relog, again just a little annoyance that makes it bad
* the red/green/... dots on minimap works fine, except when you run away there's often dots sticking
on the edge of your view (mobs the client forgot to 'delete'
* nameview: draws random parts of names on the top left of your screen,
for some reason this makes a persons name draw over his rank (so you see his name twice instead of the rank)
* clicking deal in a trade says the deal was succesful (even tho the trade hasnt finished yet, just 1 person accepted)
overall: i'd say this is probably a nice attempt but just nothing seems to be finished (and most of it not really tested)
+ i think using a public set of code would have given you every feature this source has, far less bugs then this has
and best of all: more features then this source has
now on the server config parts:
- host is constantly adjusting exp (you'd think this is great but

, this turned out to make a few caves super exp and probably rest only average
- a wiz can probably do 1 lvl every 20-30 minutes now
- mob stats are really really badly done (and probably never tested much

)
example: i was a wiz so

,
* first cave you'd lvl in: oma cave, 1f has 2 super easy mobs that basicaly cant even hit you
(and when they do, it does like 5 dmg), there's a fair amount of them (really packed cave overall)
* 2f: originaly had a mob that did own my poor wiz and gave only half the exp as the mobs on 1f, ppl complained.
so skunk decided the solution was to make the mob same exp as rest + make it do no dmg like the rest
* 2f: also this floor is so packed you can hardly move a spot (mobs occupy nearly every spot),
great place for a wiz to powerlvl: since no dmg + great exp + easy to kill mobs + insane amounts of mobs!
* 3f: heh this floor was sort of packed, had 2 boss's: i bothered to try and kill a boss at lvl 27,
turns out after hitting it for like 15 mins (took me that long cause i do hardly any dmg on boss , like it should be

),
boss is low hp, some warrior comes and 2hits my wiz (yay for boss stealing warriors)
- overall the person doing the server config really didnt test anything either:
* minimaps dont match the new map layouts
(example being the changed layout of wt maze, yet the old minimap to confuse you lol)
* cannibal plant has the wrong race or whatever
(basicaly client often makes it invisible or shows random images instead)
* when you explore past the few caves he did work on, everything else is just unfinished and ignored it seems,
i tried going to kill some ow's (like i usualy do to make some quick cash when i first start a server),
turns out ow drops 1 item / kill and those items are old stat items with new lvl requirement
(so you get a ring that gives you half the dc of the starter set, and requires lvl 22 (starter set is 20)
on a final note: i'd say this server has potential but as it is now, would probably need a few more months of development to be enjoyable long term
oh and from what i've seen, it has your usual bunch of powerlvl gang and pk all noob ppl,
seen quite a few ppl going brown pking in the start cave lol
