Well.. I don't mind making a quick setup guide..
Let Data make a new section though.. this post is going to explode lol...

Do you mean a setup guide for SQL for this server? Or are you talking about a general setup guide for this sever?

It would be nice if there was only 1thread to look at and it would help you setup the whole 2.3 Server.

this is what iv just done but as you can see i get [Win 32 Error] on the gate's.

u havnt changed your server name. and have you changed the paths in sqmir.reg?

that just means your loginserver isnt running, run it and that msg will go.

DB setup wrong (location entered wrong for item DB somewhere i think). Well, its simple to fix with DB Commander,but i am new to sql server, so thats all i can tell you

your using wrong SQL ID +/or Pass, thats wot i was doin b4, go thru all files and check that they're all correct and it shud work then

Done pass in: SQlmir.reg, dbsrv.exe, loginsrv.exe, and all correct when doing ODBC where else should i check

you need to make sure you edit the 2 txt files aswell in the mir200 folder

!DBSql.txt

Jesus, like i said before. Someone needs to make a setup thread and there will be less of this senseless posting.

It only takes 5-10minutes to do and it saves EVERYONE time on posting and replying...
