I wish to add that not every single person here is effected by this "im not sharing" disease currenlt sweeping the community and as in the past with 2.9 I never had any issues with helping out as many servers as possible in the effort to get a set of working files to allow the players (cos after all thats what its all about) to get a game thats as close to the real thing for free in effect.
Now to give at least two example of people who let greed take over them and now, weeks later how it has come back to bite them in the arse.....
The Mirx team (oooh scandel) - i suggested way back when we first started on the files that we shoudl work - get this - as a team to make a set of files that was mostly done. In other words pool the resources of the people who know what they are doing which would have cut the time required to churn through the files into days not weeks. Even back then though - greed came into play as people wanted to put a server up fast and why on earth would they share there work....
There was if you think about it- the perfect optionas there was a web site and so forth to enable this to happen, all that was needed was a bit of direction and somebody to control the stuff - sounds real easy to me....I started as above and worked away getting the mobs, stditems etc all done so we could move onto the NPCS and so forth....
What happened though was not quite the ideal setup you see me describe and now i see NotmeAgain asking for a team as he dont have the time or the will to carry on with this task in hand. If he/they had worked with me back then or during my translastion of 1652 files along with all the rest, he would have by now a set of files that was all english and at least 8+ quests worrks plus probably more ...

Next up on the bench - Nightwolf (you knew this name would come up) - dare i list the constant withholding of anything and everything?? Yet is more than happy to take stuff and the post as if he wrote them? Hell why not....
First set of Server files, used Encrytion - we could not do mapinfo, he had a program to generate it - would he pass it out to us lot (the team he was on) - nope - he offered a service were people sent files and he would do them - errr - mapinfo can change a lot esp once we start to add maps or find little bugs etc... It was with this annoyance that i went off and found before it was even publicy posted on the chinese forums (still not really publiccy posted tbh) GT Server pro. Thats a server that does not use Encrytion - i posted this on MSRF site at furst to allow us to carry on with out task - then i see he posted on here "Another server I Found" - you found??? - grrrr....
I wont list the rest of the stuff as it will go on too long - latest one is he has a exe which uses a smaller font - obiously hexed - i asked for this so i could find the hex and publish it - so everybody can reduce there font size and I can carry on working with other stuff (as above) but still to this day the words ring out.....

I dont see this sharing in operation - I have posted Utils, hex codes and passed on via MSN complete sets of files to people or via my forum. Sorry for the long rant (again) but from my eyes - people only start to help/share when they start to see others push out something they are after - I said it back on MSRF - this Greed of there will come back to bite them on the arse - and i was not wrong..
