[*] ALL Base Stats are double. (HP, MP, Accuracy, Agility, AC, MAC, DC, MC, SC) - OUCH! Maybe 25 or 50%? double is bit extreme a warrior with double base AMC/AC would be a right bitch when fully re-levelled. Maybe adjust per class

Boss soul would be cool, but maybe limited to lower-teir bosses / level based
Cool little idea, revival ring effect needs to apply only to mob deaths maybe? As the HP Bonus on a warrior would make them invincible, understand other negatives but even so, if you can run a tank dealing 5dmg, I'd give up killing the tank.

Explain? Is this a toggle? Don't see real perk from agro, and % damage, not a massive fan. Only part is maybe increased spawns, but would it be noticeable?

As you've mentioned monsters only seems legit, maybe make it cost mana to use abilities / or an ultimate you need to charge, 1hit = 1 ultimate. Then say Para costs 10 ultimate, but has a 10% chance to work. Then teleport, and clear could be same process, 1 ultimate / tick for clear/ use.
Pro only works while ultimate bar is full, so a wizard with a hench mana pool cant rely completely on their pool but also ultimate (forces them toattack / do damge to recharge ultimate.
[*] Rebirth only drops.

[*] Rebirth only visible mobs.
[*] Increased HP and MP Regeneration.
They would have enough.
[*] Can use Town Teleport Scroll.
Everybody deserves this.
Penalties

Make them receive 20-30% maybe, but not none.
[*] You have 50% reduced Experience rate.
As above could this not be only in effect when in group? No point being rebirthed and taking 2x longer SOLO when solo is allegedly broken
[*] There is a chance to lose 1~20% of current experience on death (reduced chance from PK).
Love this idea, but other punishments should be lessened dramatically.
[*] Cannot use Sun Potions.
50% effect of a sunpot.. Sunpots are essential and the exp loss would force passive players to not rebirth due to probably being ganked.
Mechanics
- You will maintain all of you skills and their levels.
- You will not be able to use the skills until you meet the level 1 Requirement, Example, You can use Level 3 FlameSword at level 35 (Assuming it was level 3 before Rebirth).
All Legit.
Dislike the idea of rebirth this early on, you're bringing the end of the servers life to the beggining...for me anyway

I think if you're going to use a rebirth system, you have to keep it from being way over powered, here's what I would propose.
Requirements
- Level 47 (Keep it something that is reachable for the non 12 hour a day players, but still difficult).
- Not wearing any equipment
- You cannot be a Mentor.
- 10M Gold
Benefits
- +5% XP
- +5% Drop
- +5% Damage To All Log Mobs (Not bosses)
- +2 of any base stat of your choice
Penalties
- -10% Group XP
- +25% Skill Leveling Requirements (so 100K to level up a skill would now be 125K)
- Have to buy all skill books again
- Cannot be Mentored
I believe something like this will make Rebirthing an attractive prospect, but not overpowered. You can also Rebirth multiple times, but each time the cost requirement goes up by 10M gold, and the Benefits/Penalties stack. So on 2nd rebirth, you get +10% xp and +10% drop, but -20% group XP and +50% skill leveling requirements.
How would that sound to people?
Theres no way people would use it for that. Not without Rebirth-only items atleast. By time I did 0-47 again I could have done 47-50 and not have been a noob again struggling to kill things.
Rebirth is just a bad idea tbh. If it's put in for lvl 45, people who are lvl 46+ would lose out on levels to use it,. If its put in for lvl 50+ its such a trade off that it would have to be seriously OP to be worth it.
My honest opinion is rebirth should be kept to high rates.. the double stats seem pretty overkill and alot of negative points.. server defo doesn't need rebirth mechanics added yet if not ever... also adding revival rings in my opinion always kills a pk aspect revive tt wait come back endless loop to keep your items safe.
Please think this one through thoroughly before adding this big of a change maybe create a poll to see if this intrigues people
Your all pussy's, you've been farming same ****, same items, same area for 15+ years for the most of us, soon as jamie try's to do a massive unique change ( which could turn out ****ing amazing ) you all **** your pants and say it's a bad idea... I welcome this... but at 45-47 as the rebirth mark, no casual ever hitting 50 without paying someone to level them.. Obviously if it was between 45-47 rebirth reduce the perks you get accordingly.. think this is a sick idea though. Bored of playing the same old ****.. farm n pvp. Fave part: Mobs only rebirth can see
If rebirthing is added, particularly in the fashion outlined here, I personally am done with the server (which would mean I'd be done with Mir altogether for probably a few more years. Not quite ready to depart again yet :P). Everybody who had something to say about this on our guilds comms said the same, and the few that said they'd stay still thought negatively of it.
I'm not knocking it simply because I'd never reach lv.50 to be able to rebirth (I've played 2 weeks and am getting through lv.44, I certainly probably could and may get there... Eventually...). I'll bullet point my thoughts else the post will become too long:
- It's inaccessible to the majority of the playerbase (although not necessarily a bad thing, it can be good to have things seperating the few from the many sometimes)
- It's disgustingly unbalanced. Double HP, Accuracy and Agility (not even considering the rest of the stats here) will mean that to a rebirthed player, everyone else is like a mob. As if this isn't already somewhat the case: Tzuk 3shot me yesterday, and I'm hearing reports of the high wizzies taking over half of a well geared lv.47 Warrior's HP in one FF.
- Leveling rebirthed would be ****ing boring, due to being unable to gain XP in a group. Not to mention this being naturally advantageous to wizzies.
- Extremely easily exploitalble. No grouping allowed? Cool, let's exploit the tagging system to depleat a shitload of mob HP's and have the rebirthed guy 1 shot em all.
I, personally have always hated para rings and protection rings in Mir. Let's have an item granting a completely brokenly unbalanced mechanic, and make it super rare (who thought of this really?)! But I actually like your idea to add these stats to droppable charms and make them only applicable to monsters.
But yeah, there's already very powerful players in-game, some of whom have no lives and others who pay levelers to grind their char. You're suggesting to add a feature to the game that makes them a hell of a lot stronger, whilst making their leveling experience absolutely ****ing boring (no grouping) further pushing them to pay levelers. I just don't get it.
Not to mention, this feature would negate the need to add further content to the game (no, this isn't content).
This is the best Mir private server I've ever played, I'm having a great time on it. This feature would absolutely **** on it for me, and I'd drop it in an instant if it was added. "I'm leveling to lv.50 so I can do it all over again but solo this time", uhhm... No thanks. I don't care how OP I'd be, I wouldn't endure such a bore just for that.
I think the name of this should be changed to something more appropriate if it were to be added: God status.
