hint: roll a few other classes and then see if everything is a walk in the park.

Top 5 - 2 Melee - 3 Ranged (not including the no1 GM Char)

Top 10 - 5 Melee - 5 Ranged (not including the no1 GM Char).

Top 19 - 8 Melee - 11 Ranged (not including the no1 GM Char).

This is precisely the type of post I mean (and dislike). People just throwing their opinion or "what they believe to be true" into the fray on the forum discussion and hoping it sticks / no one bothers to pull them up on what they say actually being true or not.

In response, you finish up your input with your opinion that I do not look at the entire picture and
your opinion that 20% ranged on the leader board should be the arbitrary figure that should spur the GM into looking at wizards, not a percentage lower! lol! :dejection:

Its made even funnier by the fact that this started as a discussion over wizards in PVP, not PVE like you seemed to have stumbled onto because you wouldn't actually start having a serious discussion like I asked you to, instead of throwing opinions and insults around.

The AOE class is levelling faster than the non-AOE classes, who woulda thunk it...

I don't understand this sentiment.

Because, if you look at the ranking right now, ignoring the GM char at the top 9 out of the top 20 aren't wizards. That's nearly a 50 50 split, which would indicate other classes are levelling just fine in comparison.

And you are, so what’s all the tears for?

that some of our spells are broken and need looking into. some are too strong, some are too weak and some don't work properly at all. Just because FireWall is in a decent spot and every wizard can level, doesn't mean we should completely ignore the rest of a classes spells when there's a problem. I can not make it any clearer than this, if you fail to understand this, uninstall from life.

There will be no issues with bug fixing spells, but strengthening wizards in pvp will be a massive issue, keep the state they are in now and evaluate their solo strength once more of them are 43 for fox tames.

The forum is here for people to discuss and debate, not hurl abuse when someone says something they don't agree with.

P.s the breakdown I gave earlier shows 5 ranged 5 melee in the top 10. Last time I checked that's not 55%. Lol. 5 wizards 4 warrs 1 Sin. Not bad ratios for single target classes VS aoe huh?

P.s.s you do realise you keep getting confused and talking about PVE when the original topic was about PVP. Try to keep up / stay on topic please. Haha.

agree with the first part, but there's no taos archers or assassins in that top 20, probably top 25/30 so clearly other classes aren't leveling fine?

bar a no life archer and a no life sin that top 20, maybe even top 25/30 is just wizzys/warriors?

As the king of AoE, is this a surprise? All classes you've mentioned eventually get aoe spells (CrescentSlash/FanofKnives for sins) (ThousandSwords for taos) (InfernalShot/OneWithNature for archers), and I would imagine that is when they start "catching up".

Its just all about putting time into the game lol... or levelling efficiently and a sin can be near top..

Rankings are hardly a reliable source tbh. When the highest lvls group hunt and are relying on multiple classes to kill its hard to gauge who is coming out on top. Wizzies have always been fastest levelers so don’t see why anyone should be surprised with them dominating leader board early days tbh. Although most servers a Wizz struggles to go toe to toe with another class of the same level but that’s all down to server team and how they balance, you figure that generally a level 40 wiz puts in less hours than a level 40 Tao for example to get to the same point if they both solo, so should a Wizz be equal in power with less effort? I’m not suggesting for 1 moment that they shouldn’t, just throwing out another point of view. All that should be down to the server team and how they view things going.
