question for people who know the latest ledu clients

hi,

is there a way to remove the cheat menus from the latest ledu clients ?
ie, hexing ? or some other method ie new game gate to block them?

would it be worth it ?

what do these clients offer that the current v2.12 doesnt ?

sorry if i shouldnt be posting this but iam curious to know

Theres noway to block the cheats hence why they are not being posted on LOMCN.

If a GameGate became available, and it was deemed right, im sure the reponsible people with the client would release it here.

Some cheats are also due to the client memory - i.e. you can edit the client in certain ways to negate things such as paralysis.

I know the 2.5 ledu has no way of stoping the cheats because they havent made a gamegate to stop them so be safe & use leud 2.12 :tongue1:

fair reply's, but surely if the chinese have made an updated client, wouldnt it be logical to have an updated game gate to go with it? i wouldnt of thaught they would release one without the other.

ile keep searching, ive got about 10 different sets of server files on my pc atm, so ile have a look at what the different game gates offer.

nick prob knows as i keep seeing his name on posts on hh8 forums, nick any ideas ?

I would Advise you keep your Cheats Set as they are cause if not there be people taking ova server and other who wanna level will be just wasting there time cause it will end up corrupting your server and you will lose people

? your confusing me lol, what on earth are you talking about ? iam not doing anything to our server, i wont be doing anything to our game gates lol,
what i have said is that i have several sets of server files on my pc, which all have completely different game gates so iam going to try and see what each one has to offer along the lines of cheat blocking not changing the game gate we are currently using as that would be bloody madness tbh.

Btw just to make sure, this will all be done offline, there is no intention for us use the newer ledu clients on bandet etc, it would be a complete pain in the backside anyway as most of the std item numbers are different so would mean the whole db wouldnt need to be redone.

i just simply wanted to know if anyone knew if the cheats were blockable or not, or what would need to be done to make them blockable, i have the latest 2** (not telling what version) client which is newer then the version hs mentioned, and its far superior (sp) to the 212 tbh in what it can do, and what it can read but its a real shame about the blooming cheats.

The HH8 team did not release an updated Gamegate they had no need too.. The Chinese use these cheats as 'standard'

The other clients past 2.12 offer nothing new to servers here.. There main feature for you lot would be that they read up to vampirism's magic effect

By the way no decent Chinese server uses Ledu anymore

Oh and Koni the latest Ledu is 2.55 (And even that is about a year old) and it isn't that much better than 2.12

ok m8, also to let you know it also reads humeffect images past 10, horses past 5, no mon magic files are required as its all in the mon.wils (that may just be a client file thing not an exe thing), no mir config needed as its all done at the bottom of the client, flamefield kind of works on my test serv anyway, can read a fair few more magic images, thats all ive noticed at the mo, but if theres now way of blocking the cheats no need to bang on about it ne more =(
