Thank you for this, i think this is a constructive response to where we currently are in the game.
And i agree but have some answers to share to give you answers as to why things are the way they are right now.
There are also points i cant argue, but only put our hands up and say we are working towards things.
I have numbered your points to try and constructively answer the best i can.
1) The error in the initial items, was not in anything but the new rings/brace/necklace (magical, Holy, Lion) that was wrong and was changed (like you say it was too high, we needed to adjust), everything else remained exactly the same as when released. With regards to the 2-4/2-5 change. Because the server crashed it reverted to what it was before we went live, we changed last minute before we opened the event from 2-4 - 2-5 and because we did this so close to a crash, it reverts the DB, annoying!.
2) The general bosses are copy and pasted for pots. But items have very different drop pools. I have seen some bosses drop amazingly. i have seen some bosses drop poorly. I think this is fundimental to the server. If we had, had to many drops early, people would have nothing to play for. People always ask the question "are 43 weps and heavenarmour in drops" the answer is Yes.
2.1) With regards to drops, we always increase the drop rate, its slow, but its happening, we want to slowly introduce items, we want you to feel like youve earned it, and when the 43 weapons start dropping, you will feel very strong as you may be one of only a handful that has one. Thats exciting i think.
3) I think balance is hard, any server has its balance issues, we on the other hand made some big errors initially, Right now though, im watching every class die, I think wizards are the ones who are upset the most right now, and i totally get it, They went from hitting 280's to now hitting 140's, but still 140 is strong for a ranged class. A class that levels the fastest and therefore get better as they get higher (Blizz/Met/MagicBooster)
4) What do you suggest we do with players who benefit from changes? punish them for doing nothing wrong? Its a doubleedged blade here, and thats something you have to consider. A wizard who has been hitting 280 FDs for the past 2 weeks, whats the balance here? Yes this is normal. This is part of any game, ill use fortnite as an example. Tommy Gun = OP gave me like 25 wins in less than 40 games, should they be deleted from my record now? because new players dont get the advantage i had? Its a normal balance issue, you release something, you see the issue, you resolve. You cannot punish those who have benefited from something that was a game mechanic. This is something players loose their heads over, but actually never really think it through. I could go on and on about this. But it seems to be a waste of time, its normal that this will happen in EVERY game ever made. Sometimes youll be strong, then changes will happen and it will effect the gameplay. With regards to the dynamic shards, its not been fixed yet, so we cant start changing players items, when they can simply put the item back in, or some unknowing player does it, and what we ban them for doing something they didint know? For now, until we fix (which isnt just pressing a button) we have to leave it alone, and as soon as its done, like we said, we will make it so you cant have more than 1 in each slot.
5) With regards to sets, these are the euro sets right now, i agree there is so much we can do. there is loads we have already done, but have not yet released. We dont want players to outgear the current game state. Its a release programme. On a new big patch we will release the new crafting, as we release new items etc. I agree with you here, but its a timing thing.
In all, i think some really good points. I only disagree with point 4. I strongly disagree here too, you cannot punish people for something they just used because it was ingame, thats our job to fix, which we have/are doing. We have changed loads, not just whats currently in.
