I remember my first EE after the sun pot change

No offense taken. Have you tried to kill EE since this change? Or do you simply give up because of fights there? Have you tried to kill this boss 'legitimately'? Can you outpot its damage? Or even res your members upon death? Is Sam/BH actually aware that the boss tele's to people in the room? I mean, after all he wondered how I managed to 'lure' it to the door.

This was the first time id actually done this one. 5 people, used 2 suns. Not exaggerating, really not a tough boss.

As Melk said, weve just done EE to test what people are saying, and I still don't quite understand the drastic need for change.
There was no blocking involved, no in out of the door, no tactics, no specialised kits, only lvl 50 there was Mirtiger I believe, and we didn't even take in our biggest hitters (coz I went in =P ), we just went in and killed it. The squishies took a fair spanking when he raged but overall it was barely a moderately difficult kill.
Again, not trying to insult or offend, but I cant currently see what the massive problem is.

No you wouldnt. Appreciate a little more detail of group without askin u to give anything away. but how many were 48 and all over 46?
Point is
people like HarryH been soloing ikh since level 37 but using a few sunpots
people like forsaken dont even go til they have a group of 45+ and then only if they dont have to fight or have 2 groups one to doorblock
Now do you see why smaller guilds who can only field smaller groups need to be able to use sunpots especially when they arent all 45+
Like ziid said no reason for it to be 1 second to get around the script you all so convinced everybody else is using but never your own

Your right its apparent that you have missed the point. If the thread was titled EE is impossible with the new sunpot change than your input here would make sense. Considering what has been discussed and from your response it is clear that you don't understand what the problem is.

If you read some of the more in depth posts written here you should be able to see that the problems being discussed include changes in class balance, ways of minimizing the impact of the sun pot script on game play and different ways of changing overall game play difficultly and whether or not this change has an overall positive or negative impact on these things.

How a single kill on one boss went is completely irrelevant to the entire context of this thread.

The points on EE was as Tori had said that it wasn't killable without using the door, after being narrowed down from 4 bosses to EE, and it isn't a boss that's usually in our rotation, so we went tonight to see what the problem was, and didn't see any big issues.

PvP is never going to be agreed upon as people cant agree on anything when it comes to PvP, personally I think the sunpot change has been beneficial on tao/war/wiz, which I play, and I think it makes pvp better in general.

@bayya - correction from earlier, i think there was 2 lvl 50's, then by my rough count 2 people at 43 or below, and the other people between 43-47, none aside from Mirtiger/Woodie were in top range gear, I have sub-average war gear and no rage, I believe 2 or 3 of the others are without a few books still too and not in excessively good gear. The group was not special, and would pale in comparison to the usual TKO/Team groups going to kill it, and wasn't even our own best group available.

We killed EE very basicly, tank n spank, tao took a spanking when it raged but aside from that it was not hard to pot through it. It is simply a lowish hp, high damage boss, nothing special.

I would like to see this if you can video it.. I've survived the full length of ONE EE kill without leaving the room and I used 25 sun pots in the process. That was with 4 of us killing, 2 wizz, 1 sin, 1 tao.

if/when we go again maybe we could take you, most of those that know you would probs vouch for you so I don't see that being a problem. Not my decision though. What gear/amc/MR did you go with?

Really wasn't anything special - Woodie, Ozzie, ssgohan and Mirtiger in DC kit plus Flavii (curse, no energy shield)

We'll record in future though if we can kill WW Lord with one group and no guards like we did last weekend, we can handle EE.

Solid guild of decent players with no dubious history, Forsaken has been around for the last year and we're here to stay amigos.

From what im reading you seem to do everything with 10wars 3 wiz and a tao. The three classes least affected by the sun pot change.
Ozzie even removed all credibility from any argument he could put on the table by saying he only plays the three classes least affected, so what good is an opinion on something you dont experience? Brilliant...

I hope the drop was good for you, be nice to have some fights down there.

Hey mate, oz may not play a sin but I do as discussed with tori. Granted I was on my warrior for the EE kill,but rli wasn't that hard. Cant see what the issue is at all

Not sure if its been changed since last i played then, it used to hit for 350+ rapidly.
unless slowed it would wipe the floor with everyone except wizies with shields up. it was always a 2-3 sun bundle kill for me unless we got the slows on it early and lucked out with slows after that.

try it on your sin and let me know how you do mate, or take sins archers with you and see if they survive.
as previously mentioned its mainly sins who have been affected by the sun change as they are the only class that NEEDS to get in close without the hp pool or mitigation to sustain any real damage (pve wise)
Hell even if DD or MK target a sin for a few seconds they will probably die.

seriously though, no more comments from wiz or war, we understand that you are happy with it. that's great.

Of course your happy with it your a warrior unaffected by the change in a guild that avoids fighting or doorblocks and who never go anywhere without at least 16/17 of you and have the famous pay to win crew in guild. Possibly EE was easy for a group with a few 45+ warrs. Other guilds been killin since autumn with lower levels bbut using sunnies.DD like it there.

Pretty sure 5/5 didn't have a tiger on, maybe 1 or 2 did I dno.
Why are tigers gemable with MR btw, makes bosses 2 easy.

To be fair I haven't killed EE too much, maybe 15 times but I just know that I simply cannot stay in the room with it unless I have minimum 25 sunnies and there are 4/5 of us with high dps. I don't rank its drops that highly, not much different from WG/col, more about the fights.

First room looks a nice place to fight for a wiz, before you enter the SHIP.
