We intend on making TDB work the same as it did on Euro.

Make of that what you will.

So in your personal opinion did TDB on Euro cut through Defences?

Can you see where we are going with this?
Can we not just go there already?

Alot of people keep muddying the issue with opinions, but we need to base things on statistics.

My lvl38 wizard has 350 Hp in his 5 string set and crappy rune gear.
to kill him in one hit you need 175Dc (not gunna happen)
to kill him in 2 hits you need an AVERAGE of 87.5Dc (not gunna happen)
to kill him in 3 hits you need an AVERAGE of 58.3Dc (Possible)
If I lvl to 44 and put a blue dark armour &5String .. to kill him in 4 Hits will require an AVERAGE of 75Dc (not gunna happen)

Now statistically speaking, a Dc100 warrior can do a maximum of 200 Damage a TDB.
Isnt a Mc50 Wizard doing about 150 Damage across 25 spaces with FlameField?

I dont get how 200damage is gamebreaking if a wizard can do it? lol

I know what people are saying, I also play as a warrior so I totally understand.
I have had NO input on how any spells currently work. But like I said, TDB is been worked on to fix it.

No offence intended, but if you dont have any input then why are you even commenting? Because even you know you cant help us, you proclaimed yourself "I DONT HAVE ANY INPUT".

Then we will ask them the same questions asked here until someone SOMEWHERE is forced to make a decision once and for all. Because im sure someone took the decision to remove the AC penetration. Who was that person? Lets get to the bottom of who is doing what and why once and for alllllllll.

I have had no input on how skills currently work. No sure where you got your quote from, I think you made it up.

I do now have input on how skills will work, and like Sam, the one coding the skills has already said, TDB will work as Euro.

If your going to have a ridiculous cooldown on TDB, make sure you set FF to normal cast speed aswell, I really don't see why warriors are getting penalised for there skills when wizzies are running round with a stupidly hard hitting skill at twice the cast speed
It won't just be the cast time of FF it's the cast time of every skill. I rember GMs saying "cast time can only be changed universally, not individually".

If cast time gets change there will be a hell of a lot of balancing to do from scratch again.

Cast times are being changed to be true to euro/official.

Current fixes off hand:
- TwinDrakeBlade: Penetrates AC (option available in setup to turn off AC pen), No delay on usage, 10 mp charge 10mp use.
- LionRoar: Now works on Mobs up to 3 levels higher than you.
- Reincarnation: Potential fix for not being able to res sometimes, a bunch of debugging put it in casefix doesn't work.
- Cast times: brought in line with euro which are slower than what ours were.
- I am sure there are a couple of others, I will post them soon as I can check.

Still working on/have our attention (some of these will be in plan for weekend, some of them might not be):
- Mirroring: needs damage put back to official.
- HolyDeva: needs to be living and AI restructured.
- MeteorStike + Blizard: need updating to be more inline without how Ruby/2.3/Official do it.
- Hallucination: needs a number of fixes applied, potentially recoding tbh.
- Sun Auto Pot: requires an option to disable it server side and disabling for AceM2.
- Hold Shift Attack: Needs fixing, no need to explain what.

Like I said I have a couple of hours a night to spend coding and there is no way I will get all of the still working list done... We are trying our best though.

I assume he means its a server-side setting for anyone else who may run their own server with these files in the future.

You would need 75mc to hit a 150hit with FF... so would you like to tell me how you would get 75 mc in a five string hp kit and blue armor?

Whilst your bringing everything in line... for the warriors how about you have a look at Nerfing LR and Entrap as these arnt working as they should be. Also if you reduce the cast time on wizzy spells you should also make them hit the correct damage. Ie FF is currently 75+ your max mc.... so I have 65mc + 75base = 140 max hit... Which compared to Euro is awful.

I will look into damage comparison with Phili sources, but I am relatively sure that it is already the same...

I don't recall Euro mir being balanced between classes so we're walking on thin ice.

Completely agree, but we have tried to balance the skills to which we have received nothing but abuse about... So we will make the skills euro and just attempt to provide more balanced new mobs, we have wasted enough time on trying to get skills right.

Well why does FF hit between 70-76 with MC 5-6 and 80->150 with mc 9-60 ish?

I admire you for trying it but it was destined to fail. The Mir community has turned sour and before they put some help forward they turn it into abuse.

I agree euro was flawed but you can't make statements saying you are basing your stuff on it and then change other things.
