Chronicles numbers were legit, good advertising and was pretty much the only decent low rate server in a long time when it launched iirc
I'm not sure it's possible nowadays but sure would be nice to see
Until you realise about half of those aren't for the server but for all the troll comments and mocking of zedina that went on.
It's impressive yes but don't take "likes" on a server thread to be equivalent to usercount otherwise you're setting yourself up for disappointment.

I like most, have no idea what the usercount is going to be, but we should have a rough idea of numbers the night before by the amount of accounts created * (if we get this silly autopatcher to stop playing up).

but everyone is talking about this and alot of people are coming back to play due to the Emails helped reach everyone who doesn't use LOMCN.
wont matter to me long as there is 200+ people and PK to be had.

It's quite possible that we would see a launch night of up to 500 people, when I hosted Archons DL on my server I had almost 1k unique downloads and over 140 people use my .torrent in the run up to release.
All depends if the community are still interested in playing and what other Mir 2 servers are currently available. Like always I'm hoping for a strong launch with a lot of interested players!!

yeah people will download and log in regardless its keeping them that's the hard part, keeping people interested.
there is always that time in every server iv played when things become dry or content becomes slow..
imo things should be planned in advance like expansions, to keep the server from becoming dry or people out leveling the content.

when your talking about numbers like 700 on chrons u can say 100-150 accounts at least are people making dupes/multis for extra storage etc.
no this was live date people wont be making alts nd what not there was over 700 that showed up on the release it was chaotic..
