Release Web Mir Server files

So the demo works but does the 'real' thing work where players can register a character, saves the character, items etc.
Also, is it possible translating these files?

Yeah, no point in the demo version if you can't make accounts. Also the 'missing files' may be important and we may not get hold of that.
But be good to work on these files, translate them and make use of them. They seem decent.

Currently working on a web version which is identical to the standalone. Just setting up Skills atmo, Will post some vids shortly but ON topic nice work to who ever did this.
Still struggling on setting it up, was told you dont set it up via web hosting but via a dedicated machine. So its like a mir server, does that mean it can be hosted on a computer machine too? If so, how? I don't really understand milo's guide,a step by step guide would be really helpful.

Agreed with MentaL xampp much better but i would recomend www.tech-hosts.co.uk or something like that because u can pay via text message if you dont have a card because of age or what ever.
I have these files up and running thanks to MiloFoxBurr, Awadhero and Mental's post using xampp. The files work and run best using xampp as it already installs apache and mysql for you, it took me a while to figure out how to set it up but its quite easy really. I am currently running the files offline from my computer and ive just about nearly translated the files apart from the interface ingame. I am looking for a team to help me with these files. So far i have fixed the error in the gameserver that Milo reported and it resolved some other issues ingame such as saving the players quests etc. I am looking for someone who can translate the interface/buttons ingame also someone whos good at php/html who can help improve the files. Here is the link to the missing file that goes in the D:\Web_Mirserver\work\trunk\gs_data\script folder. I will continue working on the files and hopefully get it fully translated and fixed any bugs then release for the community with a lot better guide.

You will also need the missing .dll files that were missing in Milo's download.

Hmm... Does anyone know how to open .lc files so i can translate them?
Also, having problems with getting indexReal.html to work, it loads but then gives a black screen.

I am currently working with someone on these files. I can now confirm that indexReal.html works and so does the registeration. It was a matter of translating the buttons and knowing where to go to register an account. However, still figuring out how to open the .lc files so i can translate/edit the npcs. But i'm getting there. One bug so far and that is the fullscreen gives a black screen but that can be fixed by looking at the code. Atm you can make it bigger in the web browser by clicking the button in the left corner near the sound button above the skill bar. I'll keep you all updated... p.s loving these files, it has gameshop/guilds and many other things. Atm trying to figure out the GM commands. So out of curiosity, whos actually interested in using these files?
