to be fair, you dont know what the different pets do, for all we know, there could be a tank (taunt )pet, dps pet, a support (heal or buff) pet etc
he said there are 5(i think?) pets that hunters get, be interesting to see if they all differ (if they are all just stand and attack pets, I will be disappointed) - but I doubt they would be.
Of course things won’t even out until late game, so expect to be shredded by sins in the lower levels, with there double slash/haste but once TDB comes into play, it’s game on
Couldnt have said it truer myself.
Warriors always become stronger as the server progresses. They are so good at evolving with the server.

You pretty much hit the nail on the head :P
its amulet basedOut of sheer curiosity (will understand if you dont want to give it away) Will hunters get 1 summon companion spell but then have to choose which companion is summoned manually or will it be 4 seperate spells unlocked? Reason i ask is because im curious if the hunter would have to level up 4 seperate companions or if it is just a case of earning different types which are cast at 'x' persistent level ? If that makes any sense at all (it does in my head)

I will try not to sound negative but do you understand how unfair and unbalanced what you are saying is?
Basicly you agree that what will happen is:
- On the first few days Sin will lvl slightly faster and be stronger than warrior due to haste/doubleslash
- Once warrior hits lvl32 things will even out
- Once warrior gets CHM (which will be 2-3 days into the game at a rough guess) warrior will lvl way faster than sin
- Once warrior gets a little aspeed he will also have better single-target damage along with more defences and lvling faster
So in general if the server lasts lets say for 1year, sin will be stronger than warrior the first few 2-3 days (which are pretty pointless since you are competing for Omawarriors pretty much) and then warrior will be WAY stronger for the rest 362 days. And thats supposed to be ok and something you agree with?
PvP+solo bossesI always viewed Assassin as being the PvP class, their skills greatly mirror this. They will never be comparable to a warrior BUT should still deal the highest single target damage out of the melee classes.

A good assassin will kill a good warrior most of the time. an assassin who wants to kill a warrior end game by standing toe to toe.
I really dont want to disrespect you or your team (especially Hany is a long time friend of mine) however i haven't seen those 2 classes balanced sinve ever. I think only Ben/Hany achieved it ONCE in their servers and Chronicles to some extend.
So end game assasin wont kill a warrior toe to toe... Will he kill him from distance then with his ranged spells or something? I keep reading the same argument again and again. You dont kill a warrior when you stand next to him. Ok, where do i stand then to kill him?
You need to realise that there is only a single way to balance war vs sin:
- Sin has the constant damage output simply by holding shift
- Warrior has the burst through FS/TDB
The warrior should be the one running arround and timing his cooldown spells not the sin who simply has "shift" at his disposal. Thats what every single developer team gets wrong imo at least.
Anyway that was my opinion. Suppose we can put some faith in you and your team and worse case scenario some classes will be OP and some UP which is to be expected anyway.

An assassin is all about the element of surprise.
If an assassin loses that element, they shouldn't be able to just hold shift and kill a warrior. That takes zero skill.
They should run off, go invisible again, use their buffs and try again surely?
Was tempted to pick a hunter however there seems to be no jump spell? I can see backstep which can be quite predictable..
I have noticed they do get a shield so similar to a wizard but they don't have a spell that can mass kill like FF.. do they have a static shot type spell?
One final thought sin/war - DC Wiz/Hunt - MC Tao - SC therefore unless the drop rate on SC items is reduced it will be very cheap to kit a tao...
Similar to wizards in Chronicles...
I think a few videos would help my decision.. nudge nudge wink wink
