Management.
Management isn't easy, specially on a Mir server, the Mir community is so different to other communities out there, things could have been made better by the Apoc team, I think this is a lesson for them to learn from.
Development.
I think peoples exceptions need to be lowered with regards to developing a set of files for a server.
Mir teams are small, the development teams are generally one or two people so to expect a bug free game from the start is a joke.. fixing said bugs is important no denying that but that doesn't mean it's easy nor is it quick (at least all the time lol), It's not like official games where there's a team of developers, a QA team and a good pool of people to test upcoming features/systems/changes, even then Official teams don't always get it right nobody can deny that.
Having a beta stage to 'test' things doesn't always result in these bugs being caught because some (if not most) people are normally too focused on where and what to hunt when they start, finding exploits for them selves, finding the strongest class in PvP and so on...
It is a shame how quickly Apoc went down hill had a lot of potential, I don't think either option would give it a new lease of life other than a complete rebuild of the content.
