Seems like my dream has become true! always wished that Mir2 get this feature which i really liked it from WoW

You will have to wait and see, but its not a constant feature, but a mechanic we are using for certain things, dont want to give to much away, but if its successful we will have this ingame as standard as an option for people to use.

Is there going to be any sort of rested exp bonus on here for when offline or afk?

Always a pain in the ass trying to compete against people who don't work.

Casuals shouldn't expect the same level of progress as hardcore players.

Its like going on WoW expecting to have 20 people from your guild and expect to have the same level of progress as Method/Limit.

The hardcore players not only put the time in on servers, but understand where is best to level in terms of exp per hour/gold per hour and mainly, understand how to optimally hunt with their respective classes(or multi an account 24/7 but you just pk these people for their items)

The hardcore players shouldn't be punished for wanting to get ahead and try to dominate (thats part of the fun of mir afterall), but the casual players should have sources for end game loot and other things that aren't just from bosses, as casuals can rarely contest the best bosses due to Hardcore players holding the KRs(because they outgear/level the casuals)

A few suggestions (they may already be in game, just putting my 2 cents forwards)

Boss Spawn Range Timers
Rather than a boss spawning every hour, make it every 45mins-1h15mins - this means you can't do 'boss' rotations so efficiently giving others a chance to catch the boss

Door Locks
Certain KRs are locked by a kill count, x hundred mobs on the floor before the Kr need to die before the KR becomes accessible; or other conditions need to be met.

Certain boss items being in normal mob drop files;
for example
MTK has a 1% chance to drop a Judgment Mace
WindMinotaur has a 0.001% chance to drop a Judgement Mace

p.s.
I also hope that you have really customized the drop files, if not; you make it so people know exactly where to hunt for what books and items, rather than having to learn what drops what; which I think again is part of the fun of a server, discovering where sucks and where is amazing (and keeping it to yourself!).

edit
p.p.s
If the server restarts, please tell me all the bosses don't respawn!
I mean you don't want a server to restart but if you have a few reboots in short succession you can bring in a lot more items then you originally planned due to instant respawn times

I disagree, this point is more relevant to casuals who need to maximise their gains given limited time frames ;)

Just because someone plays Casual, doesn't mean the don't know how to play effectively; granted they may not be the highest level or best geared players.

I will be playing approx 5-6 Hours a night, this is Casual to me.

Yeah I didn't mean to imply that all casuals didn't know how too, but the majority don't know the best way to maximize their classes compared to hardcore players.

5-6hours is casual?! man I don't ever think I have that time free on a weekend anymore (and I dont even have kids, yet...!)

Every single mir has been the same , put the effort in get rewarded

every game is like that actually , if you play more and invest more time , why shouldn’t you be stronger than everyone else ?

Retards wanting everything handed to them on a silver platter.

And every single mir has had the same trouble getting attracting new players and trying to keep the ones you get.
The geeking ones will sell chars and move on burned out/bored and demanding new content so they can level further away from the rest.
Sounds familiar?
What about the paid to be levelled ones? Multi player Chinese basement sweat shops. U want a repeat of USA?
NO I don't want an easy life. I want people running servers to understand what's happened in the past on every other mir server(like u say) and see the the troubles coming if they do the same things

Are you some kind of mir communist? You sound like those who criticize hard working people for their success.

"It's not fair. I don't want to do anything but I want the same reward as you"
What happens on every server. A few will out level the main bunch of players. This includes characters who pay for levelling services, multi played sweatshop chars and rich layabouts who pay for every advantage they can get.
Then those with advantage get the bosses first the kit first and can easily PK everyone lower level

A lot of em say they play for the fights or they play for the PK. It isn't true if everyone is a lower level its easy and boring

I DID SAY the fun everyone remembers is those fights that lasted 30 mins or marathon 2 hours because everyone was about the same level. A goup of geeks levels ahead of the rest flattening everyone in 5 mins or less isn't as fun.

I have the time to be one of the highest levels early on. So no I am not a communist. I am saying it's more fun for everyone IF players are similar levels.

We wont get that great experience unless

1) EXP rates are not changed
2) GG store offers no bonus EXP boosting items
3) GM's implement features to help monitor / ban multied accounts.

Number 3 potentially being quite expensive and number 2 generating less cash income, without them it will be another server the exact same as all of the rest with people hitting level 40's over the weekend.

I was considering making a "server first 40" achievement. No special rewards, but just to have the achievement, whos up for the race?

Took 7 days for the first hardcore to hit 40, and thats with 40% exp in the Gs, seems as though we didint get it wrong ;)
From there upwards its only gets harder. considerably.

Once one of each class hits 40, your little award will be in game. (NOT a statue! not for a weeks work lol, maybe 50... who knows :P)
