The thing is people need to PUT level cap. To make the server fresh and catchable for the newcomers...casuals are still part of the community but when they log on and see a lvl 47 war they log off instantly.. there is no point for them playing. Aswell as the newcomers..

lvl cap works for games like World Of Warcraft but that’s only because the end game content is rich with instance bossing.

you say ppl log off when they see a lvl47 warrior...put a lvl cap on and the lvl47s will do the same?

its so hard to please both the no lifers and the casuals?! Like it’s two different scales you have to tailor for both, otherwise one half of the scale will eventually log off like you say.

still think this can be solved with soft caps to keep ppl going top end and WOW type instancing that can’t be botted/cheat farmed AT ALL. Make it two seperate “cues” one for solo one for group both with bosses both with drops both with equal fun. Also put a cap on time in instance and a daily/weekly go at it...not constant so we can come out and continue the server with plenty to show and tell.

I love when the maths comes out to put it into context.

As for the level cap idea I get it but it is mir and seeing a level 50 in oma King robes never put me off rolling a new char on euro. Think its one of the magic things of mir where you can just keep leveling

Except for instance, at peak time the player count is 300ish, all the mob is for them to kill? Nobody else is trying to steal mobs from them? Or they got a whole guild stand besides them and protect them? Pk is everywhe. They got enemy.

That’s fair enough playing 24 hours a day but solo 3,000,000 XP with a 40% is still hard to achieve per hour.

Can you confirm it took both players over 4 days from 46-47 then?

No i cant confirm lol, i dont know when/where/how fast they level, quite frankly dont keep an eye on the rankings.

Yeah, event out, and a Monday evening. 200+ players online at a time, seems nice to me

not the first one to brought this up, wandering when gm gonna close this thread.
They upgraded too fast, almost unimaginable, surpassing the speed of wiz, during the third phase of the event. I heard people say that they found the BUG of this event, a position to refresh dozens of strange, so the speed upgrade.

Paying someone to level their chars is the normal , and I suspect these guys are actually “levelling”

to many people cry they can’t level when they log at on at 1900 , pot up ready to level at 1930 , have an hours levelling. , TT at 2030 to reward yourself with a cup of tea and a PvP in town , pot up ready to go again at 2115 , do another hour , log off at 2230

whereas the actual levellers , have potted before they logged , log on at 1900, and level until 2230 without bigdicking it in town or spamming **** in global , no chatting to pals , no pvping for bants , they just level

I will go back to my original point...if you add hours played to the stats then at least some of this will go away! It is simple enough to do.

We all know how levellers work and how efficient they can be.. You don't need to tell people how to suck eggs..

What people are getting at here is that the Char in question, has done almost a full level 46-47 in a day...

So the actual questions should be:
How much exp is needed?
In what time periods had this been done?
Has this been done solo?

Once we know we can then question where has the character been hunting?
Have they found a secret cave that nobody knows about?
Have they found an exploit?
This bit shouldn't be taken lightly by the GM's making a comment such as "I don't check rankings" is pretty poor in my eyes.


The casual play vs the paying for levellers isn't a debate for this thread.

When i was playing i saw FFF lvling in PT for hours on end because of the dwellers that were there as well as the large amount of mobs which are easy to kill. My guess is he lvls in PT KR and hes on 24/7 because people are being payed to lvl his char people shouldnt be punished if they want to geek lvling hardcore and like cobra said they just lvl they dont mess about talking pvping etc they just there to lvl.

idc if he wants to level people need to realise its not about that, NEWCOMERS will never come if people are already overlevelled( if u know what i mean) and casual will stop playing ( many did already ) thats about it, idc he can be even lvl 50 as far as i care.

The issue isn't about the char being online/leveling 24/7.

The issue is, is it actually possible for the char to level up in the time he did level up, i don't think there's an issue myself but i would imagine it would take at least 95 hours of leveling to go from 46>47.

If it took more than 95 hours, fair enough. If he leveled in less than that time (some are saying 1-2 days lol) then there's an issue.

I'm told Dwellers were there best method to level up and why it was done so quickly. BugCave for example giving 4K per mob. 5K+ on a 40% pot. Permanently on 40% Exp pots the entire duration of levelling. Permanently - let that sink in on just how much money they're spending.

Considering these warriors can fill an entire bag of RT's, no need any HP, and go around ONE hitting these 5K Exp giving mobs... it's really no surprise they've levelled so disgustingly fast. The event was crazy good for levelling for everyone, they took it to the Arab extreme.

People telling me to watch the rankings is ridiculous, and simply ignorant. We have set the exp and dont need to check rankings to know the speed of leveling.

With regards to this, its quite simple as Kori has said, Dwellers may not have dropped as much, they sure gave more exp than jackolanterns.

Most people chose to hunt pumpkins for the chance of a rare, about 20 players stayed inside caves all week hunting the dwellers.

The exp gap is not easy, if it was, there wouldnt only be 2 players who non stop level up there, there would be more.
