Why GM's dont test ballance, and only listen to player moans about what they should do or not?
Most players only say **** so it will benefit their own class.
I encourage GM's to test (sin/warr) dps/tanking/evasion capabilities for themselves and do what they see fit ! Imho if I was to choose between 2 melee classes (at any game) : 1st) A tank (HP / AC wise) that also has best dps (constant tdb) + burst dmg tdb + fs , and an escape mechanism (SD) and 2nd) A said to be best DPS class but currently it's not with low HP / AC and escape mech...what do u think I was to choose?...srsly I dont see the need for the 2nd class in this particular example. But hey...that's just me being angry...I guess..

Sins were hitting true speed 8 yes

so sins hitting true speed 8 is not a bug, why is this being changed? if the issue was stun lock why not just fix that...
sins have been bugged for 15months with aspeed7... 15months!

people are complaining about recent nerfs, sins have been under a constant nerf for 15 months...

p.s Tai piss off.

Can i just clarify xGHOSTx's comments. I cannot and will not ever be able to 1 hit iNoob. I never have been able to and this is simply a ridiculou accusation. Where did you hear this? I also can't hit for 600 damage - again i have no idea where you heard this. Its worth mentioning that a lvl 50 sin in full dc can hit the same max as my flaming sword with fatal sword, which is passive and can sometimes work twice in a row. Hope that puts things in perspective for you. And i still dont understand the comments from sins about SS. Clearly you dont have lvl 3 SS yet?

Also, reverting the majority of the speed changes was necessary. If warrs are looked at it needs to be done properly, but this was not the right approach. Sins are still faster than they were and the staff have said theyre going to look at a better way of buffing them further. The server is broken in its current state and this needs to happen until a better solution is found - these changes were not the right approach and this has been recognised by the team.

I've seen consistent hits of TDB at 270 a swing (540) combined.

You were also boasting on TS about nearly 1 hitting aso, a tao with what 600/700 Hp?

Personally I just don't think its right that a class with the most Hp, ac should be able to do that kind of damage.

I think I mentioned earlier that fixing the stun lock would take longer than we'd like. This is a temporary revert of key (and in our opinion necessary) changes purely so the server can continue as it has while we go back to the drawing board and get it right. We don't believe keeping the changes as is would be beneficial for the server in general.

It's classic chinese whispers. You have the likes of Razarus and ToriBlack manipulating peoples words for their own benefit. Notice how 16-18% becomes 25%; how 70 becomes 100? Round it up bro, they'll never notice.

Any news on the Atack Animation of Archer Static Shot ? it's hitting slower before the update ...

Edit : All these change you should consider on puting a small cooldown on Warriors shoulder dash so they cant be able to spam sholder dash every second ... and fix the wizzards hiting off screen with MS and Blizz will be nice :)

Just out of curiosity, how do you guys (server team) complete your testing? Do you rely solely on the public testing this on your test server? Does your test server match the LIVE server? Do you have a test 'plan' which you create per update and is relevant to what changes you are incorporating? Do you quality check each others work?

I would be more than happy to have a conversation with one of you regards this. I work for one of the most successful IT consultancy companies in the channel islands which specialise in advanced business solutions and IT services so I'm happy to share some ideas/thoughts and processes we incorporate which might help you on a smaller scale - it might help for smoother releases in the future.

Raise sins back to speed 8 - remove a flinch if need be.
Don't buckle to wizzie cries wanting AOE spells to hit 4-500 damage per target (12000 damage per full lure) takes every other class and age and multiple spells/attacks to deal that damage.

I think this is the first server where doubleslash actually does double flinch - but thats a discussion for another day :p

C# Files also double flinch on attack, the problem is balancing the flinch lock. If you can get that right, whilst having assassin attack fast, it's a winner ;)

my frend u starting to look like a retard about 12000 damage on wizz.Put a CD on Dash AND FUKING PUT A CAP ON PING so ppl like Depres dont dash u when u r @ 5 spaces away. Put a cap on pig @ 40-50 ms or REMOVE THE CAP ON FPS.

Server has been up approx. 13 months and 21 days? Let's call a happy medium.

Bottom line is, sins speed has been broken since the start of this server.

Campaigning for warrior aspeed to be capped for 10months.
Sins aspeed as been bugged for 15months. (ok almost 14months)

You really have gotten off to a bad start, almost got the 3 count on you already.

@xGHOSTx - who have you seen hitting 540 TDBs? Seriously where are you getting these figures from? Im not sure what DC jeras has, but with 152 DC i cant hit anywhere near that. Stop pulling figures out of the air to try and make warriors out to be something their not. Also when did i boast about almost 1 hitting aso? Hes never been rev'd whenever i've fought him so how would i even know? Must be dat auto rev hax!

Also, regarding sins being bugged at speed+7 - if it makes you feel any better, warriors are also bugged at a cap of speed+7 as speed+7 and speed+8 both hit for 97 hits a minute on a warrior, there is absolutely no difference between the two. Just to be clear - no warrior has true attack speed+8, it is bugged at a cap of +7.

Lets do some basic maths.
If Flame Field can hit 4-500 damage (like it did prior to the nerf) and it can hit 24 enemies per cast.
400 x 24 = 9600
500 x 24 = 12000

so FF can do 9600-12000 per cast.

Granted with your pathetic kit you probably only did around 220 per FF
so 220 x 24 = 5280 damage.
That is still considerably higher than any other call can even hope to output.

the next would be Archers using Piercing shot for 210 vs 9-10 mobs if they stay lined up. 2100 damage.
or a warrior - CHM 8 mobs at 120(top end?) 960 damage.
or a tao - lol lets not bother.
Sin - 400ish top end in one cast. vs 1 mob.

AOE should deal LESS damage per mob that single target attacks the benefit of AOE is that it hits and area with effect,, multiplying the damage output considerably.

move along bud, when you finish your A, B, C's and 1, 2, 3 come at me again.

Server has only been up 13 months. Keep going though, I'm sure one day someone will take you seriously.
