dreamweaver, how to write over an image?

@Farphit: You'd do better to stick with dreamweaver, believe me. Look up positioning using CSS (Use of the margin & padding attributes are your friends :)) Worst case, put your content in tables. But, try the CSS first. It's a better option :)

dreamweaver, how to write over an image?

Set the image to be the background of the element you're using. If you're just using BODY, make a DIV first, and then set the background-image property using CSS.

My Kubuntu and Ubuntu Cd's have come :)

Yeah, you can dual-boot (like I do), keeping Windows for when you want to play awkward games. Otherwise, there's things like Cedega and Crossover Office which let you run some Windows Games (HL2 <3).

My Kubuntu and Ubuntu Cd's have come :)

Understand anything I say is based on MY EXPERIENCE. It will NOT be the same for you. There WILL be differences. -- Linux runs faster, looks better, and operates smoother than Vista or XP ever did for me. It's a great environment when you just want to browse the internet, play music, etc...

My Kubuntu and Ubuntu Cd's have come :)

Yes, but it's as aMSN. How did it go last night, Kev? Thar thundarrrstorm had me right through to 2AM, sorry. -- BTW - Get a program called Automatix. It provides a nice GUI to install all the bits Ubuntu is missing normally (eg, DVD playback, MSN programs, etc). I'll see to sorting you out...

    New memory - Again

Well, the more ram the better, obviously. But you should be aiming to try and buy the RAM in Kits, to be sure it plays nicely with itself. If you can afford 2GB - get it :P Otherwise, get a 1GB kit, and stick to single-channel mode.

    new source project - recruiting.

I'm just wondering if it would be more advantageous to retrofit Mir Unleashed to Ei's spec. After all, the engine should be easily expandable, I already have an image format in mind, and then it's just a case of maps.

    error complie exe in delphi

I'm not sure how you'd even add dependencies in that strange flavour of delphi. But. It looks like you've installed the components, but their referencing paths may be wrong. Either way, as it says, it's not finding one component, so it'd be fair to assume it's not finding any of those you've...

program to split image up for website?

Use the slices options in photoshop. It's honestly the best way. Then, export using "Save for Web", and it'll export your total image as a HTML table, with all the images in.

    Possibly a Mobo/Cpu/Case upgrade....

Drop the E6600, get a E6400 or E6300. Really, they overclock like demons. Plus, with quad core due at the end of the year, I personally don't see much point in getting a high-range dual core. And of course, that 7700Cu Zalman would be wasted on a stock Core2 Duo :P

    Monitors

Response time is a lie, as all manufacturers measure it different. Some take is as the time for a pixel to go Black to White, others between different shades of grey. Widescreen is a novelty, nice on a laptop, but for your desktop, just get a higher resolution normal panel. (More desktop space...
