    ATI control panel.

In relation to the question, don't use the CCC. It sucks, it's slow, and it's not needed. Uninstall it & change settings the old way. -- @Hate: Oh, you were on my bad side, once. You were holding a whip, and there was lots of leather. Oh, and a tub of KY the size of a small elephant. --...

    Power of PS3 Revealed!

    1. Size is an important issue. If that thing falls on a child, if the controller was pulled, etc, it could cause serious harm. Yes, i know official controllers have the safety catches, but not many 3rd party controllers do. 2. The console design is not particularly attractive, nor is it...

    Power of PS3 Revealed!

As old as this is, some of you ought to look up the rumoured R520 specs. The neXtbox (or Xbox 360) will be powered by a R520-class GPU, and the R520 itself is scheduled for release later this year. Meanwhile, seen as nVidia will be making the PS3's graphics GPU, they will not want to be...

    Buying New PC.

Yeah, but seen as the guy aint computer-literate, i'd strongly advise against a 'From-Parts' PC, because if it's faulty when it ships, Aria would still have to replace it, and if it was 'From-Parts', and it turned out that person damaged the components, that's your cash up the ****ter....

    DS vs. PSP

Considering the two consoles aren't even supposed to be competing, i personally prefer the PSP. Better graphics, better expandability, better functionality, better connectivity. Can't argue with that.

    Buying New PC.

http://www.aria.co.uk/NewDisplaySystems.asp?BrandID=12 Go there, start with the option at the bottom. Order the Arianet 17" LCD, and the DVDReWriter upgrades. Comes to ~ £790 including VAT. Of course, feel free to upgrade the graphics card further if you want to use the finance.

    BT Voyager 105 + Skype

Skype is VOIP software. First, try some alternatives, such as Free World Dialup. Secondly, that sounds about right, tbh. The only way i could think to get around this would be to get a second skype-pc, then using you router or other sotware, cap the main gaming PC to the full speed - 4KiB...

    Help Please

Yes, I used to get this same problem. I found that by disabling Antivirus & Antispyware boot-up scans, i regained control of my PC a lot faster. Also consider killing things like instant messengers that boot on load, so that you manually load them. Other than that, try defragmenting your hard...

Best graphics card for my money?

Also consider the ATI Radeon 9600 series. I picked up my R9600 (256mb/128mbit) for around £70. Check the PC World Component Centre (www.pcworld.co.uk).

    This made me Laugh tbh...

Actually, rather freakishly, he could launch a DoS attack using only UK servers, and get away with it too. Current UK law does not define a Denial of Service attack using PCs you own as a criminal offense. Of course, that's assuming Forge, or any of those northern monkeys, know how to use a...

    Overclocking help

Urban, those temperatures are VERY possible :P Make note of two things, first the cold weather the UK is experiencing right now, and that he said AMD64 3000+, *removed*. Even in my cheap case with 3 cheap fans, i still manage to idle at 33 :P

    Overclocking help

Lol, if you have High-RPM fans and a good case, i'd say those temps are probably achievable. I know i wasn't getting much higher without any fan other than my CPU one running ;) For the record, there's a good chance the PC3200 ram might hold you back when overclocking. Is it 1 stick, or 2 btw...

Mir Source Codes -- Client and Servers

Yeah, except everyone here has been flocking to VB like it's the holy grail or something... The transition from VB to C++ is by no account an easy one, purely because VB is all about hiding the nasty bits that gave C++ it's power.

    ATI vs Nvidia

Of course, you're all forgetting about ATI's SLI-equivalent :P Two X700XTs would easily decimate SLI 6600GTs, unless ATI makes some kind of horrific mistake in their implementation. @ Loz - get a different ATI card. The 9200 SE is utter crap. Grab a 9600 if you can, solved all my 9200...
