Like I said from what i've seen with the bit torrent sites you'd receive a legal letter from someone representing GN asking you to shut down or further legal action will be taken.

Mind posting the email she sent to you?

But I do reckon her next action would be to get a solicitor to send you a cease and desist order

¬¬ Ugh would you two mind reading the posts above you. I already said a C&D order isn't a requirement. Also your stated example of the music industry is bad. Quite a few users don't receive the letters, especially the larger groups. You will only get one if their case is weak enough to concern them.

If this person is employed by ONLY your domain host (don't forget to post the email so we can scrutinise her authenticity) - just cancel the domain END OF. It will then be none of her concern and you can get a none infringing domain from someone else. You are in the wrong, you should move. Do you really want to leave the ball in their court?

Im under strict order to not copy the emails lol and still cant boot pc, I need to argue my case, her problem is with names and images, mainly the client and domain name I think so surely I can just stop providing the client and change names etc.
I think her next stage will be to contact each my domain host and my dedicated server and no doubt they will back down and terminate my connection.


Tell you the truth shes a typical euro mir type person, ignores things and beats arround the bush too much.
She said she is contacting every1 not just me, but if that isnt the case what else could she be lying about? Anyone else got contacted yet?

1b. Who does 'her' work for
2. When 'they' were contacted by DB, did DB request you contact your domain host, or did your domain host request you contact 'they'.
3. Either way, someone alerted you. This alert is the first communication - not yours. Its that alerts origin which is in question.

Ok sorry, domainsbyproxy emailed me about a complaint and charged me $20 to do what ever they do, they said you need to contact the online division manager of GMN within 72 hours or I will lose the domain. I emailed the email address saying, I have been told to contact you about thelegendofmir.com, please elaborate..
She replied saying bla bla bla names and images copyrights bla bla bla, a few emails were sent back and forth,

It's the easiest thing in the world to fake an e-mail, you need to let people to scrutinise the e-mail aswell, ditch your domain and get something different, and see where it goes from there.

Got ya yeah. Therefore I stick to what I originally said. I've replied to you on a similar thread before where I also told everyone exactly whats illegal.

As said in previous posts. Ditch the domain, ditch naming association with 'legend of mir' and stop providing creations made by wemade.
