rap is the most popular music in the world, you know it and so does everyone else.
just cuz u want rock 2 be the most popular dont mean it is.
Nearly all the greatest selling albums are rock albums. If you don't believe me just google it. In fact, I can't see a single rap album on the list. And that's because rap is so intolerable that the "latest thing" has to change every 3 weeks. Rock is timeless, and never grows stale.

But hey thanks for showing me a list where almost all the artists are from the 70's-80's.
Come back to me when a rap album manages spend 28 years in the Billboard 200. Until then, it's just a passing phase.
Also the best selling artists in the UK right now are nearly all rock bands.

I'll try and explain it in a bit more detail, Rap music is the most popular type of music among people at the moment. Not rock music, rap music.
You should know if your around my age, 17? 18?
Unless your some old man that knows nothing about the music of today. About 70% - 80% of people my age like rap/hip hop/r&b, especially in America.
