Warriors are so underpowered, do no damage, take the most damage and have no range.

Plx nerf Wizards and Taos, halving their damage should be ok.

Buff Warriors.

Samuel milo, can you not reply and let me know if anything is going to be done about this ? I think 90% of server would agree with me to go back to 2.3 pvp style .. Beyond a joke.

Ughh I guess it shouldn't of been allowed on euro where a 29 tao beat a 40 warrior who hardly landed a hit ^^

Its not that, its the style if pvp that is pissing us off. This lock on **** that makes u instant run is just lame.. tao/wiz Vs Warr ...tao and wizz should always win... if played correctly. But if the chance comes and a warr can get hold of u. You should be shitting bricks.

Auto pot is a huge game changer aswell. Everyone knows how to pot on mir....get rid of it lol.

So, and as per usual this is my point of view:

Wizzies/Taoists should not have 100% accuracy on running targets (I will test this and if it is the case, fix it).

2.3 Warriors were be able to hold shift and hit a target that they run passed, however, being able to instant run after a hit is a bug and I feel there should be the usual cool down period after a hit, so I can either change it so you get a successful hit whilst running but then a cooldown, or you can keep the current system where you have more control over the when you want to hit and therefore control over the cooldown.

We do want these files to have the best and most fair pvp experience to mir date, but getting this right takes time.

no offence, but thats utter nonsense lol, by your logic its fair that u can sing once then u have to walk after ur target? try that, and ull make warrs useless.
there should be no delay in running after u land a hit...doesnt even make sense.
ur supposed to be able to move soon as uve done what u were doing, whether its a hit or a spell, i posted about that ages ago and in repsonce u made spells cast at 2x speed (which reduced the delay on running to about 1/2 what it was)..lol.
being able to hit targets moving at full pelt was only possible if you were ALOT faster than the other guy (or if they decided to run back and forth on the same 2 spots), and on this server if ur running win7 that shouldnt even be an issue.

have to agree with this, auto pot ruins pvp, knowing when to pot and what pot to use is half the fight, taking that out means theres no censequence for being slack enough to get hit(other than using a hp or sun pot)

We are working to make PvP a better experience (And closer to 2.3) however it is a gradual thing that involves a fair bit of testing. There are also inherent engine differences between older Mir Clients and ours that make it very difficult to make PvP match perfectly. It is something that's critical for me though even if I don't get involved in the conversations here. To me getting PvP right is one of the more important things about the files. But it's just not gonna happen overnight.

people should be constructive in there comments rather then trolling the issue, ive just read this whole thread and i must say its rather confusing trying to understand what people are wanting.

MagicLock isn't the issue though in this case. It's a combination of the M2Server checking a target is within a larger range than usual (This is fixed for tomorrow) and that the client simply knows were everyone on screen is at the correct time. Unlike DM2 etc which needed to employ a lot of tweaks to figure it out.

The fix for tomorrow should make it harder to hit moving targets with single target skills but we won't know for sure till it's live and will likely need to make other adjustments too it.

It's been a quiet week for the team so don't expect too much tomorrow, mostly fixes and hopefully a fix for the DBSrv crashing. It'll be an extended maintenance too as we need to update other applications on the the Dedi and update SQL.

we are talking about auto lock? all classes has... also warrior has auto lock when hitting players.. even if u run or walk( with a wiz or tao) u would get hit. used to walk alot in PvP fights now if u walk u always get hit..pvp should fixed; wizard and taos should be allowed to avoid Hits by walking or running... its too simple like that.
also few people can two shot wiz...dont cry about warriors they're fine.

Atm I really hate the fact that by just pressing shift your character RUNS (instantly as well, no 1 step walk) directly to the person you are locked on to. With this system you can no longer "walk pvp" other warriors and that itself was a skill that some people had down better than others which has been lost due to this auto running with shift.

This is the main problem, when you have a target, holding shift shouldnt make you run to that target, it should only make you walk.
Change this first and then see what people say:S

As for pvp, remove that crappy auto pot feature and tone down or remove sun potions etc from the game!
